From Our Attorneys

Hudson, Florida, is a CDP situated on Pasco County’s westernmost waterfront end. This beautiful community has a relatively small population of around 12,500. As an integrated city, Hudson lacks the self-governance rights, a factor that has not hindered it from becoming one of the most loved residential community and a top tourism center.

The history of Hudson started in the late 1800’s when Isaac Hudson and his family relocated to this beautiful town, which was then an uninhabited bushy area. This was followed up by the establishment of a post office under the name Hudson’s Landing. Hudson remained quite undeveloped until the early years of the twentieth century when a lumber cutting industry was established in the village. This became the turning point from a predominantly farming community into a residential area for the many workers within the industry.

Although many people left the area after the company went out of business, Hudson developed to become a great fishing community and now, a great residential city with lots of amenities and outdoor activities.
